DIR Turbine

Next-Gen Turbine That Operates In A Variety Of Wind Conditions

Unlike traditional horizontal wind turbines, our Dual Interactive Rotor turbine technology can generate energy in a wide range of wind speed conditions — thereby solving many of the problems caused by intermittent wind forces and the resulting sporadic generation of energy — as well as in extreme wind conditions. The system is lightweight, starts easily, and can be used in a multitude of locations & environmental conditions.

With a cut-in wind speed of 5 to 7 miles per hour, and a survival wind speed of 100 miles per hour, our DIR Turbine can be used from desert conditions to tropical conditions, and excels in generating energy in locations where traditional turbines fail. Additionally, our DIR Turbine’s excellent power-to-weight ratio and streamlined, modular design allow for a high energy output harvesting of wind power in situations and locations where traditional wind turbines could never be deployed.

Small & Medium Scale Commercial

Our DIR Turbines can be deployed both tactically and at scale to create small and medium size commercial wind farms with minimal installation and maintenance costs (compared to traditional turbines). Additionally, our turbines excel in locations and wind conditions where traditional turbines would entirely fail to operate.

Hybrid Commercial

By combining our DIR Turbines with solar panel generation on the same land footprint, InnoGen’s hybrid commercial farm capabilities maximize the available energy harvesting potential for any given piece of property. Depending on layout configurations, our turbines can also be added to existing solar farms to greatly increase the energy output of land that is already in use to generate sustainable energy.

Integrated Green Power

Due to its high power-to-weight ratio and low weight (only 150 lbs), our DIR turbines can be integrated into commercial and industrial property, along with solar, to provide a sustainably sourced power cost offset. With minimal vertical and lateral stress loads, our DIR turbines can be integrated onto existing structures, such as factory or building rooftops, to maximize a property’s energy harvesting footprint.

Micro-Grid

With multiple micro-grid applications our DIR Turbines can provided significant power to off-grid locations, such as remote villages or communities with intermittent or unreliable power. When paired with InnoGen solar power, battery storage buffer, and smart power management systems, our turbines form a complete off-grid solution that can scale to meet virtually any micro-grid needs.

Residential

Due to its governable rotation speed and low noise output (about as loud as a refrigerator), our DIR turbines can be used in residential capacities to provide significant power to homes, both on and off the grid. With a comparatively small wind swept area and low RPM operation, our turbines can be safely deployed in appropriate residential locations at very reasonable costs.
